Open CASCADE Technology

STEP and IGES files are read, and STEP files written, by Open CASCADE Technology, an open-source CAD kernel published under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1 with an additional exception. It reaches your browser in two builds, occt-import-js and occt-wasm, each as a WebAssembly file that is served separately from the rest of the site and exactly as its authors published it. The kernel's own source is at github.com/Open-Cascade-SAS/OCCT.

Because the two files are separate and unmodified, you can replace either with a build of your own: the pages load them by their address, given below.
